6N/7D | Dhaka - Chittagong - Cox's Bazar
About the Tour
Our tour begins in Dhaka, where will collect you from the airport and take you to a nearby hotel, the rest of the day is free so we can make plans depending your arrival time and energy. The next morning we will take a domestic flight to Chittagong where we will visit the famous cemeteries and ship-breaking yard. We will then head to Rangamati, a city dominated by the Chakma Tribe, to visit their Buddhist temples and markets. The next morning starts with a scenic boat ride on Lake Kaptai, followed by a Chakma tribal village - a photographer's dream - and enjoy seeing their way of life and exploring their handicraft market. Night 3 will be spent sleeping in Bandarban where the next day we will experience a full cultural immersion into a lifestyle very different from mainstream Bengali society - the Bandarban tribal villages are incredibly special. The next day we will head to the weekly tribal bazaar, where you'll see the Marmas smoking their pipes and churuts and the Tonchhonga tribal peoples. Afterwards we will drive to Cox's Bazar, the longest beach in the world. Before sunrise on Day 6 we will drive to a remote beach to experience the signature moon-shaped boats here, and to capture the fishing activities, the dry-fishing yards, and see life on the harbour. In the afternoon we will fly back to Dhaka. Night 6 sees us sleeping in Dhaka, where the next day we will show you around Dhaka and then either take you to the airport or assist with forward travel plans.
